Pen pal's

My mom told me about a site tonight that allows children of all ages to get pen pals safely from all around the world!

It's called International Kids Pen Pal Network.

Kids, ask your parents before you go there.. but it looks cool!

To find kids your age.. Go to the Find Pen Pals at the top tab and then go to the year you were born! Then you can see all the kids who want international pen pals!

I registered with them tonight and they said they would have me in the system in 24 hours!

How exciting!

I am hoping to get pen pal's from all over the world!

Since I love getting e-mail's this should be good for me! (mom says especially for my spelling!)

So here are six very random, maybe strange, things about me.

1. I love to sing and dance and do it every day. Sometimes even when I am doing school. My mom says it's a good thing I am homeschooled because of this. Hehehe.

2. I sit sideways in my chair at dinner... or lunch... or breakfast. I just can't sit still. Even when I try, I end up sideways.

3. I make this weird face when I am thinking, staring or concentrating. My mom says she is SURE she has a picture of it. So I will post one below of this "strange face".



4. I love to write and read. I hope to write my own book SOON and get it published. With mom's help.

5. I love arts and crafts. So much, that I wish I could do it all day every day and not do school. Ha!

6. I started reading before I turned 3. Just like my dad. And I haven't stopped since! I read at least 4 books a week.

Hmmmmm......What should I post about?

Well I guess I'll just post about my day!!!

Well first we of course went to Church. My homeschooled friend Caylie met us there it was her first time coming!

Then we came home and I played with my friends with...SIDEWALK PAINT!!! And we got our hands all dirty with paint it was fun.

Then we played a game and in the middle of our game I had to go in and eat lunch. And we had tator tot cassorole (Thank you Kaitlyn for the recipe! My family and I loved it and I even had seconds!)

Anyway then we got back to our game and then in the middle of our game I had to go again! We went on a family ride/skate. I skated on my rollerblades and the boys rode their bikes. My parents rode their rollerblades too.

Then I got back to my game with my friends and that was most of my day!

What are you reading?

Since there are a few new homeschooled girls checking out my blog (Hooray!) I was just wondering what everyone one is reading?

When we go to the library I get 12-20 books that I read non stop until they are done.

Some of the last books I have read are:

Hannah Montana's Series
Katie Kazoo Series
Lots of Science Books... I like Science.
And art.
(edited to add: My Bible and my AWANA book!)

My mom and I used to be in a girls book club back at Ellsworth, AFB when we lived there. I loved it! I was wondering if you all wanted to do the same type of thing. We all read the same book and comment about what we thought.

Some of the books we read before were:

Ruby Holler: Which I loved.
Gypsy from Nowhere and Gypsy and Nimble Foot
Mr Poppers Penguins: Which the boys LOVES
Lots of American girl books
and many more!

Even though I am only 8.5 years old, I read about the 6th grade level. So I like chapter books and my mommy likes to read too. And my mom and I also both write books! I am writing my first book right now. Hopefully I can share it with you soon!

Cassie is Gone!
